I think every router in the last 10 - 15 years has the ability to pass-though a VPN connection (Client on the network to a VPN server elsewhere). What I am asking for is running the router itself as the vpn client end-point, as I said above :-) Please let me know. OpenVPN server support is nice for connecting for external to my internal network
